Uniformed is a digital painting that seeks to express the duality of an afflicted mind. During the process of creating the drawing, faces were created that intersected and divided, making it difficult to decipher what was a complete face. When the painting process began, the goal was for these faces to disintegrate further, to become an abstraction of the dazed and divided mind. Therefore, the lines are blended together as well as the colors. The collage process adding elements from real photographs was added to enter into contrast with the abstraction. The work seeks the expression of mental chaos, as well as the reception of this upset mind. Using the hands as a form of "shelter" for the mind.
