Dreams of the good abyss is an animated short film produced through video and photo collages of works by well-known artists (Surrealists like Frida Khalo and Remedios Varo, for example) and proposes to literally illustrate the dream records that afflicted the artist during a phase of self-isolation, in the year 2018. The first, introductory account references the experience of lucid dreaming and/or sleep paralysis that herald the experience during sleep phases. The description of the dreams in caption form supports the configuration of the animated collages that end up hybridizing characters and illustrating the dreamlike and often confusing scenario of the elaborate themes of psi: death, mourning, fear, womb, and transformation.
