This piece talks about rage, anger, shame and feeling betrayed. It is the result of a year and a half of emotions and thoughts that went through my body and burst out one morning in March. It has much of the theory of artist Corita Kent and her methodology to create without thinking or analyzing, just feeling. By creating with a blank mind, a different creative process begins that transforms impulses into visual poetry. The technical process begins with an engraving that is printed by hand and when it dries it is scanned to transfer it to photoshop, then it is retouched and digital lettering is added looking for a saturated but balanced composition, when it is finished it can be used both digitally and printed.
