João Rochela (born in São Paulo, 1991) is a Brazilian artist. His work seeks to investigate the virtuality of everyday experience and the artificial means by which it is realized. In practice, it permeates several media in an attempt to record and reinvent the strangeness of things through the appropriation and resignification of images and the construction and deconstruction of narratives. Graduated in design, he has participated in several art exhibitions, as well as dedicating himself to the elaboration of independent editorial and curatorial projects.
