Beatriz Toledo has a degree in Arts from USP in São Paulo and a Master in Contemporary Art and Photography from the University Paris VIII. She was artist in residence at ENSP in Arles, France in 2007, at Estação Red Bull/São Paulo in 2014, at Villa Belleville/Paris (Point Ephemere) in 2015. In 2016 he was in residence at Pivô in São Paulo and did a residency at CPIF (Centre Photographique Ile de France) in 2018. In 2019 she did a residency at Lengua Negra in Medellin/Colombia. She directed, together with Wagner Morales and Camila Bechelany, the independent space La Maudite in Paris/France from 2013 and 2017. And currently, she directs with Wallace Masuko and Andrea Ganuzza the art space Tormenta in Medellin, where she carries out the FACA project.
