Uroboro was made on the occasion of a residency at the Lengua Negra space in Medellin/Colombia. It is part of a set of videos that investigates a possible mineral/terrestrial response to violence. During this period I have been investigating how the guerrilla movement in the country served as a kind of "protection" for ecological reserves because they were interested in maintaining preserved spaces for fighting territory. Uroboro is an evocation of the reverse, a chemical experiment and a pagan prayer that uses the element sulphur as a force.
