Santiago Gómez (Colombia, 1992) is a Multimedia Artist based in Mexico City and Bogotá. His work revolves around the understanding and production of fictional complexes. By this he means the way in which fictions become real by provoking possible states of things. To do so, Santiago takes advantage to the diversity of practices and images that is available, as a tangible vehicle for the representation of what is multiple and heterogeneous. In this way, he tries to accommodate the problems that arise from understanding culture as a saturated space, sometimes chaotic and sometimes systemic.
