Diego Crux, almost an artist born in the neighborhood of Parada de Taipas, on the outskirts of São Paulo. In his work, he researches intimate and personal convocations, collective experiences, representation, identity and the limits, unknowns and contradictions in these crossroads. He thinks about the elaboration of imaginaries and representations, intending and revising the hegemonic context. He uses various media in his processes, such as appropriation, photography, video, design, visual samples, words, etc. He has participated in exhibitions in São Paulo, Curitiba, Copenhagen (DK), Accra (GH), Arles (FR). He was part of Núcleo de Artes Visuais SESI (Ana Rocha and Beatriz Lemos), POPAV CPF-SESC (Ana Paula Cohen and Gustavo Torrezan) and was resident at Pivô Pesquisa 2020 (curator: Thiago de Paula).
