Ritesh Lala is an artist and creative technologist striving for balance between the digital and the spiritual. As Aranya, he makes generative systems that grant him a fleeting sense of artistic control. His works create a synesthetic link between image and sound, informed by a constant tension of how these signals are interpreted consciously and subconsciously. Ritesh has created interactive experiences that span from tiny 2"x2" cubes to multi-projector multi-room galleries for museums including The Smithsonian Castle and Cleveland Museum of Arts. His works have won several awards including Communicating the Arts Grand Prix Silver, and have been featured in Communication Arts and Popsugar among others publications.
