This generative audiovisual composition is part of the series Minimal Mandala- an attempt to interrogate digital art as an extension of spirituality. The algorithm builds on foundational mandala grids inspired by ancient SE Asian structures. Every artwork is an aerial view of a 3D superstructure built on top of this grid, following a specific geometric curve crafted by the artist. The base soundtrack is a direct sonification of each frame of the video by mapping its image data to audio frequency spectrum, creating a synesthetic link between image and sound in the process.
