Bubbles Lamp was born in the summer of 2020. An exploration of 3D graphics created with JavaScript via the Three.js library for WebGL initiated the ideation for this piece. A real transparent yellow glass lampshade found in the streets of ilithya's neighborhood inspired her to recreate such a lamp as a 3D model and make interactive digital art with it. This 3D piece experiments with point lights, transparent sphere geometries resembling bubbles, and interactivity allowing the viewer to move the lamp, pause the lights and change the light's color according to mood.
