Ver descrição

Memory Presence is a non-narrative film about the effects of the past and memory on the present and future, how everything is interconnected. It works from a device. The alteration and interposition of a digital intervention on a 'documentary' plane, a shot of the author's living room. The intervention, an old photograph digitally reworked, occupies an apparently empty space in the plane. Beyond the digital intervention, a handmade effect: the gradual change of the lighting over the point where the digital intervention would be inserted. It thus seeks, within an intimate scope - the memory of the grandmother - to reflect on the role of memory, as well as on what forms us as human beings.
