The work ‘Three Pinches’ is a remix of some of Akshata’s previous works from the ‘Oximeter’ series. The clothes clip visually resembles the oximeter. The thought behind this is the pain and hopelessness we are undergoing during times of pandemic hostility. The continuous isolation, hostility, terror and daily anxieties of health conditions have become a new normal. Akshata created this collage using the PicsArt software. She also uses apps and software like Vaporgram Pro, GIMP. In her works, she usually correlates the forms visually resembling each other into intuitive digital assemblages. This particular work is created by the collage of two self-clicked photos from her phone. Akshata mostly creates her digital pieces on her phone.
