Ver descrição

I start this work by drawing things I see. The cakes are from a tablecloth in my aunt's kitchen. Interspersing the cakes are lines that connect them and form a pattern on the tablecloth. Another thing I observe are the clouds in the sky, I keep drawing and trying to find their shapes before they fall apart. With them I create backgrounds and again patterns. When I take all these images and patterns to Photoshop, I can reallocate and play with colors, spaces, repetition and lack. The Photoshop background is part of the composition, creating another digital dimension. These cakes would never be just prints on a tablecloth, they needed to be taken to other platforms.
