Content provider is a 24/7 live video, sculpture, and performance displaying a livestreamed cctv video of my bedroom inside a scaled up polaroid from Taylor Swift's '1989' album rollout; beneath the stream the lyrics read "you know I love the players, and you love the game" The work engages a self aware pastiche of early 2010 aesthetics by pointing to the way instagram originally based its visual motifs off of polaroid images in order to manufacture an in built sense of authenticity for the user. Linking this to self representation online, what it means to be 'public' or 'private' under Capitalism's relentless use of data mining and social conditioning.
