Stacks is a series of digital images developed as experiments that were intended to generate forms from the synthesization of pre-existing images. The images in the series were generated from a database of hundreds of frames from science fiction films. Responding to various criteria of visual data visualization, images emerge as new remixed forms. From this series, the artist displaces the perspectival technical image from the field of representation, seeking an image that has more to do with presentation, action, and process. Thus, she questions the role of the author and the artist in the generation of forms from resources of our time, in search of diversity and plurality.
