Ver descrição

In Listen, I try to bring questions such as: new ways of perceiving the soundscape of different environments, of an object, the presence of silence that does not exist. The soundscape is our sound environment, the ever-present set of sounds, pleasant and unpleasant, strong and weak, heard or ignored, with which we live. From the buzz of bees to the noise of explosion, this vast, ever changing compendium of bird songs, jackhammers, chamber music, screams, train whistles and rain noise has been part of human existence. The central goal of Listen is to place the viewer in these new listening locations, increasing their perceptions.
