Pixel-Art of historical monuments from the city of Mariana in 80's game concept. Mariana is the first town, capital, seat of the first bishopric and the only one colonial cities to be projected in Minas Gerais. All the history and aesthetics present in the city in its architecture, inspired Sakura to create this set of arts, in which she joins references turned to the world of games, the nostalgia of the 80's, besides her historical baggage carried by her experience and immersion in the historical setting of Mariana. In this illustration I tried to represent the Vila de nossa senhora do Ribeirão do Carmo "Mariana" being elevated to a city in 1745. In the art we see João V of Portugal king of Portugal and by his side his wife Maria Ana of Austria.
