From a young age I enjoyed studying self portraits of classic masters especially in the medium of painting. I perceived them as amazing statements of craft and presence. A selfie is a modern form of a self portrait. A simple code made in processing grabs the color and location of a randomly picked pixel of a photo and transforms these values. Im amazed by both aesthetic and technical possibilities provided by the code. This illustration is a processed photo file made with an android. This work is unpublished.
