In 2020, some photographs I took during a trip to Chile corrupted on an external hard drive. For a moment I thought I had lost these images, but soon after I realized that chance had given me raw material for the creation of new images. Soon after, I began to use post-production to give other meanings to the corrupted photographs, drastically modifying the original colors and relating them to themes linked to the activities of the brain, memory, and the effects of hallucinogenic substances. "Cardiac stimulator" refers to the discovery of LSD by Albert Hofmann, a scientist who accidentally synthesized the drug in an experiment aimed at stimulating the heart and blood circulation.
